Privacy Film for Bathrooms, Doors and Offices
Frosting film gives glass the look of sandblasting for a fraction of the cost, and your glass stays as it is. Based in Ormeau, we measure, quote and install at your place. We bring samples, so you can see how each one looks on your own windows first.

Privacy Without Living Behind Blinds
Big windows are great until you need privacy. The bathroom blind stays half shut, street-facing bedrooms stay dark, and a glass door on the home office means no private video calls.
Frosting fixes that. The film scatters the light, so people can’t see through the glass, but the room stays bright. Reflective tint only gives privacy in the daytime. Frosting keeps working at night with the lights on.

What Frosted Film Does
Privacy Day and Night
It blocks the view from both sides, day and night. At most, you might see a soft shadow when someone stands right against the glass with a light behind them, but no detail.
Less UV and Fading
The films block up to 99% of UV rays, which slows fading on floors, furniture and blinds. Unlike curtains, they work whether they’re open or shut.
Softer Light, Less Glare
Frosting spreads harsh sunlight evenly through the room, so there’s less glare. It isn’t a heat film, so for hot west-facing glass we’d pair it with solar control film.
Decorative Film and Frosted Glass Effects
Decorative film changes plain glass without replacing it or etching it for good. It looks like sandblasted or acid-etched glass for a fraction of the cost.
Finishes range from a light frost you can partly see through, to full privacy, with stripes, gradients and patterns in between. If you need glass to hold together when it breaks, that’s a job for safety and security film instead.
Full Frosting
Even coverage across the whole pane for total privacy. Best for bathrooms, toilets and bedrooms.
Partial Frosting
Frost on part of the glass only, like the bottom half of a street-facing window or a band across a glass door at eye level. You get privacy where you need it and keep the view above.
Decorative Patterns
Stripes, gradients and patterns that add style as well as privacy. Popular for office partitions, entry doors and shopfronts.
How a Frosting Job Works
1. Free measure and quote
Call 1300 361 743 or fill in the form. We come to your place, look at the windows you want frosted and hold samples up to the actual glass.
2. A fixed written price
We measure every window and give you a fixed price in writing, with the warranty details.
3. Installation
We protect the area, clean the glass, cut the film to size and squeegee out the water and air so it sits flat. The edges are trimmed neatly to the frame.
4. Final check

Will frosted film make my bathroom too dark?
No. Frosting softens the light rather than blocking it, so the room stays bright. The light is just softer and more even, instead of harsh direct sun.
Can people see through frosted windows at night when the lights are on?
No. Unlike reflective tint, frosting keeps working at night. People outside see a soft glow. If someone stands right against the glass with a light behind them, you may see a faint shadow, but no detail.
Will frosting stop people seeing in during the day?
Yes. It blocks the view from both sides in daylight too, so it suits bathrooms that face a neighbour or the street.
Does window frosting work on shower glass doors?
Yes. We can frost glass shower doors and screens as well as the bathroom window, so the whole bathroom matches.
Can I get partial frosting for my windows?
Yes. It’s popular for street-facing windows. We can frost the bottom section or add a band at eye level, so you keep the view above.
Can I get a custom pattern or logo?
Yes. Choose from solid frost, stripes and patterns, or we can cut a custom logo or design for your business.
Can frosting be removed if I change my mind later?
Yes. The film can be taken off or replaced without damaging the glass. We can also strip old, peeling film before fitting the new one.
How do I clean frosted windows after installation?
Wait until we tell you the film has settled, then clean it like normal glass with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Skip scrapers, scourers and anything abrasive.
How long does frosted film last in Queensland's harsh sun?
Good frosting films have UV stabilisers built in for strong sun. Residential installs carry a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty, and commercial installs carry the manufacturer’s warranty for the film chosen.
Can frosting be combined with solar film?
Yes. We can do both in one visit, with frosting where you need privacy and solar control film where you need to cut the heat.
