Which film is best for a west-facing office?

Will tinted windows make our office too dark?
Not unless you want them to. Some films are almost crystal clear and still cut heat and glare. Each sample shows its VLT, so you know how much natural light you'll keep.
Does window tint give us privacy at night?
Reflective film gives privacy by day, when it's brighter outside. At night, with the lights on inside, people can see in. For privacy all the time, frosted film is the better choice.
Can window film crack the glass?
